Harry Edward Styles - also called Harry Styles - is a British musician and composer. Harry Styles has been credited as composing songs to the One Direction band. Harry Styles was born in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England on February 1 1994. He's the child of Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles, a former student at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive schools formed a group called White Eskimo together with three of his fellow students. The band won in 2009's Battle of Bands thanks to their excellent performance. The musician was always fascinated by the arts, however he also wished to become an attorney, physiotherapist or even a scout. In order to support the needs of his children, he worked some time at a bakery. Harry Styles performed Is not She Lovely (Stevie Wonder) during the auditions in 2010 in The X Factor. The reason for this was the band split up. Nicole Scherzinger was the judge who suggested Harry Styles to be part the group that would later be called One Direction, along with Liam Payne Zayn malik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell was the sponsor of this group. The group was formed in the year the year 2010. The group performed hits such as My Life Would Suffer Without You which was written by Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the competition. This made the group one of the candidates to win the award. Despite this, they finished third, just behind Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles' group didn't win, but Cowell nevertheless paid $2 million for One Direction for them to agree to a contract with Syco.
